A New Beginning in Christ
“For if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
— 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV)
Welcome.
If you're here, something in you is stirring; curiosity, longing, conviction, or maybe just a whisper of hope. Whether you’ve never opened a Bible before or you’re just starting to explore who Jesus really is, this space was built for you.
We don’t offer trends or shallow answers. What you’ll find here is a return to the deep, ancient roots of the faith. How the earliest followers of Christ lived, worshipped, and walked with God. Just like your health journey may lead you to ancestral ways of eating for clarity and strength, your spiritual journey deserves a foundation just as pure and time-tested.
That’s why we center everything around the original teachings of Christ passed down by His disciples. What they lived and taught was not a man-made religion. It was a lifestyle grounded in grace, sacrifice, and eternal truth, directly from Jesus Christ himself.
The Path Is Clear
"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
- John 14:6
Where to start...
Christianity & Why Is It the One True Faith.
Christianity isn’t just one religion among many; it’s a relationship with the One who created us, and the fulfillment of all human longing for truth, love, and eternal life. It is the faith that was handed down directly by Jesus Christ and preserved through His disciples and their successors.
What sets true Christianity apart is that it is not man reaching up to God—it is God reaching down to man. The true Christian faith holds that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, became man to restore what was lost, heal what was broken, and reconcile us to Himself. Other religions may offer teachings, rituals, or wisdom, but only in Christ do we meet the living God who gave Himself for us and invites us into His eternal Kingdom.
Who Is Jesus Christ?
Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God—eternally one with the Father, and born in time of the Virgin Mary. He is fully God and fully man. He didn’t come only to teach or inspire, but to save us. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He destroyed death, forgave sin, and opened the path back to life with God.
He is not a prophet or spiritual guide. He is the Lord, the long-awaited Messiah, the one by whom all things were made. To know Jesus is to know the Father. To follow Him is to walk in truth and find life everlasting.
Why the ancient (Orthodox) way?
Because we believe truth doesn’t evolve. The way Christ taught His disciples is the same way we are meant to live and believe today. The earliest Christians didn’t guess what to believe—they received the faith directly from Christ and His Apostles, and they passed it down with great care.
We follow the ancient way because it has preserved the teachings, sacraments, worship, and lifestyle of the early Church. This way holds tightly to the fullness of the Gospel, the mystery of the Eucharist, and the beauty of a life patterned after Christ and His saints. Like how we look to ancestral wisdom in health, we look to our spiritual ancestors to show us how to live with God.
How to start following Jesus?
Start with a heart that desires truth. Begin speaking to Him honestly. Pick up the Gospels and get to know Him. Ask Him to reveal Himself. Then, live what you read.
Following Jesus means turning away from sin, learning His words, and choosing daily to trust Him. It’s not about perfection—it’s about surrender. And just as Jesus called His disciples into a family, He calls you to be part of His Body, the Church, where you’re supported, nourished, and baptized into new life.
What is the Gospel?
The Gospel is the good news that God became man, died for our sins, rose again, and opened the way to eternal life. It’s the story of God’s love reaching you personally, to rescue you from separation and death.
The Gospel is not advice—it’s an announcement. You were created in God’s image, but sin broke the relationship. Jesus came to heal it. He took your place on the Cross, conquered death, and now invites you to receive forgiveness, healing, and new life in Him.
How to read the Gospel as a newcomer?
Start with the Gospel of John. It reveals who Jesus is as the Son of God, and speaks deeply to the heart. Read slowly, a few verses at a time, and ask, “What does this show me about who Jesus is? What is He saying to me?”
Read prayerfully. Read honestly. And don’t read alone—seek out believers, ancient commentaries, and trustworthy voices rooted in the historic faith to help you grow. God’s Word isn’t just information—it’s transformation. Let it read you as much as you read it.
How to Find the Right Church
We’re not here to promote one denomination over another. Our hope is that you find a church rooted in the original Christian faith—grounded in Scripture, shaped by the early Church, and centered on Christ. That’s why we personally lean toward the Orthodox tradition.
Look for a church that teaches sound doctrine, practices reverent worship, and draws you deeper into a relationship with Jesus. Above all, trust the Holy Spirit to guide your steps.
Below, you’ll find a Coptic Orthodox Church directory to help you start your search. If you're exploring other branches of Orthodox Christianity, a simple web search by location can lead you to them as well.
Start Your Journey
When finding a church, always explore churches that are FULLY ROOTED IN CHRIST. We suggest churches within the Orthodox Christian tradition. They're anchored in Scripture, shaped by the early Church, and centered fully on Christ. It’s the faith lived and handed down by the very disciples of Jesus, remaining the most historically unchanged path since the beginning of Christianity.

What Is Orthodoxy & Why It Matter?
What is the Orthodox Church?
The Orthodox Church is the original Christian Church—the same one founded by Jesus Christ and spread by His apostles almost 2,000 years ago. It hasn’t changed its core beliefs, worship, or structure since that time. It’s not a new branch, movement, or modern reinterpretation of Christianity. It is the continuation of the early Church in its purest form.
Why Haven’t I Heard of It?
In the West, many people are more familiar with Catholic or Protestant churches. The Orthodox Church has its roots in the Eastern world—places like Egypt, Greece, and Jerusalem—where Christianity first spread. It’s quietly remained faithful to the original teachings of the apostles, even as newer denominations formed over time.
What Makes the Orthodox Church Different?
- It preserves the exact teachings and practices passed down from the apostles without modern alterations.
- Worship is reverent, sacred, and full of meaning—designed to lift the heart toward God.
- The Church is centered around community, humility, and a deep, personal relationship with Christ.
- It relies on both Scripture and the lived wisdom of the early Church, not individual interpretations.
Why Does This Matter for Me?
If you're seeking a path that is unshaken by time, trends, or personal opinions—Orthodoxy offers a rooted, consistent way to know and follow Jesus. It's not about being entertained or comfortable. It’s about truth, transformation, and returning to the original faith as Christ and His disciples intended.
Where Should I Begin?
Start by finding a local Orthodox church and attending a service. It might feel unfamiliar at first, but give it time—Orthodox worship is deep, reverent, and beautiful in ways that speak to the soul over time.
You don’t need to know everything before stepping in. Just come with a sincere heart and a desire to seek truth.
Consider setting up a meeting with the priest of the church. Introduce yourself, share your interest in learning more about the faith, and ask any questions you may have. Priests are used to guiding newcomers and are typically very welcoming and patient.
Take your time. There’s no pressure to rush. God works in each person’s life uniquely and purposefully.
